Our company’s Chairwoman, Yang Jing, has been honored with the title “40 Young Entrepreneurs of Fujian’s 40 Years of Reform and Opening-Up.”

On the afternoon of October 27, 2018, the thematic practice activity “Staying True to Our Entrepreneurial Aspirations and Carrying Forward the Great Cause of Reform,” commemorating the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up, was held in Fuzhou. The event was guided by the Fujian Federation of Industry and Commerce and the China Internet News Center, and organized by the Fujian Young Minshang Association and the Strait Channel of China.org.cn.

Li Jiarong, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Tian Yucheng, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Engineer of the China Internet News Center; Chen Jianqiang and Liu Jun, Members of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Chen Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Communist Youth League Committee; and Zheng Yuming, Head of the Membership Department of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, along with other leaders and guests, attended the awards ceremony.

Chen Jianqiang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, delivered a speech at the meeting. He stated that today’s young Fujian entrepreneurs are emerging as the backbone of the province’s business community, playing a vital role in building a new Fujian characterized by vibrant mechanisms, thriving industries, prosperous people, and a beautiful ecology. He expressed the hope that all young Fujian entrepreneurs across the province will seize the momentum of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up, arm themselves with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, vigorously promote the spirit of outstanding entrepreneurs, strive to become role models for the new‑era generation of young Fujian entrepreneurs, remain true to their original aspirations in entrepreneurship, carry forward the great cause of reform, boldly lead the way, forge ahead with determination, and create remarkable achievements, thus jointly writing a new chapter in the development of Fujian’s private sector in the new era.

Subsequently, Tian Yucheng, a member of the Party Committee and Chief Engineer of the China Internet News Center, also extended his congratulations at the event. He stated: “For China’s private enterprises, the 40 years of reform and opening-up have been a remarkable journey of growth. As pioneers of reform and opening-up, Fujian’s private firms have stood out in particular, nurturing a large cohort of outstanding young entrepreneurs who were born after the launch of these reforms and now lead their respective sectors nationwide.” He added that since its inception, China.org.cn has consistently championed the private sector and amplified the voices of private entrepreneurs. In the process of amplifying China’s voice and telling China’s story, it has placed special emphasis on highlighting the perspectives of Chinese private entrepreneurs and sharing their inspiring narratives. Upholding General Secretary Xi Jinping’s directives, China.org.cn will rigorously guide its journalists to strengthen their on-the-ground presence, sharpen their insight, deepen their thinking, and refine their writing skills, so as to provide more comprehensive and high‑quality coverage of China’s private economy and to promote the rising generation of young entrepreneurs—especially the distinguished young Fujian‑based business leaders.

This event was designated as one of the mass‑oriented thematic publicity and education activities organized to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up, jointly issued by the Publicity Department of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the CPC and 10 other ministries, commissions, offices, and bureaus, and it has received widespread attention from all sectors of society. More than 300 chairpersons or general managers of private enterprises registered in Fujian Province, all under the age of 40, participated in the selection process. The evaluation spanned ten months, encompassing online registration, online voting, public announcement on the official website, and expert review. Following a fair, transparent, and impartial selection, our company’s chairman, Yang Jing, along with 39 other private entrepreneurs, ultimately stood out.

This thematic practical activity is being held to thoroughly implement the spirit of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council’s “Opinions on Creating a Healthy Environment for Entrepreneurs’ Growth, Promoting the Outstanding Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Better Leveraging the Role of Entrepreneurs,” as well as the corresponding Implementation Opinions issued by our province. It aims to highlight the significant role of Fujian’s private sector and the important contributions of its entrepreneurs, guide the younger generation in carrying forward the fine traditions of their predecessors, and promote the outstanding entrepreneurial spirit of the new era, thereby adding luster to Fujian’s commemoration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up.
